The CSIRO estimates that the cost of poor <strong><a title=\"indoor air quality\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cos.net.au\/index.html?pg=searchresultsdisplay&amp;search_type=K&amp;search_string=aeramax&amp;search_values=&amp;searchlogtype=KE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">indoor air quality<\/a><\/strong>, may be as high as $12 billion per year.<\/p>\n\n<p>Indoor air contains up to 5 times more contaminants than outdoor air and is influenced by the presence of;<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bacteria\/viruses,<\/li>\n<li>Allergens (from dust mites, pollen &amp; mould),<\/li>\n<li>Volatile Organic Compounds \u2013 organic compounds are chemicals that contain carbons and are found in all living things. One set of participants was given the test in a typical office setting, while the other was given the test in a \u201cgreen space,\u201d one where volatile organic compounds (VOCs) were removed.
