Our Story
COS was founded in 1977 by Dominique Lyone, whose family fled from Egypt to Australia after the 1967 six-day war. Following in his father’s footsteps, he started a local office stationery business with two staff in Western Sydney.
More than 45 years later, COS has grown to become the largest Australian owned and operated office products supplier. With over 600 employees and warehouses in every state and territory, COS delivers thousands of products every day to workers, patients and students across Australia to help keep them healthy, safe and productive. Remaining a family owned and privately managed business, COS is now led by Dominique’s daughters, Belinda and Amie Lyone, who jointly hold the position of Co-CEO.
