Australian workplace and education supplies company COS and Sharp Office today announced they have reached a strategic agreement under which the supply of Sharp Office’s Office Products customers, including office supplies, furniture and branded merchandise, will transition to COS from 3 August 2026. Sharp Office will continue to independently own and operate its Print Solutions division, including copiers and printers.
The agreement represents an important next step for both businesses and reflects a shared commitment to customer service, long-term relationships and supporting Australian organisations.
Sharp Office has built a strong reputation across Newcastle and the Hunter region through local knowledge, trusted customer relationships and a genuine commitment to service. These strengths were a key factor in bringing the two businesses together and will remain central to the customer experience going forward.

All Sharp Office Account Managers, Customer Service team members and Drivers have been offered employment with COS as part of the transition, helping ensure continuity for customers and preserving the local relationships that have been central to the success of the business.
Sharp Office will continue to independently operate its Print Solutions business, and existing Print Solutions customers, support arrangements and contacts will remain unchanged.
Customers will receive further information regarding account arrangements, ordering processes and support contacts prior to the transition. Until then, customers should continue working with their existing Sharp Office contacts.
