NAIDOC Week is a time to honour and celebrate the history, culture, and achievements of First Nations peoples.

1. Crown of Country

- Colouring pencils, crayons, or markers
- Glue stick or sticky tape

For best results, print the worksheet on paper or light cardstock. This will make your crown or headband sturdier and easier to decorate!Colour in it!
Use bright colours to decorate your bookmarks. Include traditional NAIDOC Week colours like red, yellow, black, green, blue and white.Cut it out
Carefully cut along the dotted lines around the shape.Add extra length (if needed)
If your crown or headband doesn’t fit all the way around your head, cut an extra strip of paper and attach it to one end with glue or tape.Size it to your head
Wrap it gently around your head to check the fit. Trim or adjust if needed.Glue or tape the ends together
Once it fits just right, glue or tape the ends together to form a circle.- Wear it with pride!

2. Bookmark of Belonging

- Hole Punch
- Ribbon

Gently bend the slits outward with you fingers. This will give the lantern its signature puffed look.Attach the handle
